Medical Student Forum

During the Midwest Winter Symposium, MCEP will be holding a Medical Student Forum for M1s though M4s, both MD & DO attending one of the seven in-state medical schools of Michigan. The forum will include small group advising, a residency fair, simulation as well as a resident panel. Registration will be limited.

The cost to attend is $60 and includes the Forum on Saturday, 1/25/25 and the MCEP Evening Reception on Friday, 1/24/25, as well as breakfast and a box lunch during the Forum. You are also welcome to attend any of the Midwest Winter Symposium’s educational sessions that may be of interest to you. Please note the fee does not include accommodations or skiing/lift tickets.

– Informal Residency Meet & Greets
– Advising Breakout Groups
– Education Programming

A $60 non-refundable fee is required.

There are only 40 spots open. The first 40 PAID in full are eligible to attend the Medical Student Forum. There will be a waitlist in case any students drop out. The fee is $60 to attend. If you are registered for the conference, that does NOT mean you are registered for the Medical Student Forum. You must scroll down to “Extra Events” and select the Medical Student Forum.

Please note that after the cut-off date of 12/23/2024 your attendees will have to call Central Reservations at 800.462.6963 and ask for the Michigan College of Emergency Physicians to book their reservations, based on availability.
